Inauguration de l’Auditorium du musée de l’Industrie

Ce 25 octobre dernier, le Bois du Cazier a eu le plaisir d’inaugurer son tout nouvel auditorium, situé à l’entrée du musée de l’Industrie, en présence du Ministre wallon du Tourisme René Collin et de nombreux représentants de la ville de Charleroi.

Cet événement fut également l’occasion de présenter pour la première fois au public « De la Révolution industrielle au Patrimoine mondial », le nouveau film d’introduction à la visite du musée de l’Industrie.

“La Wallonie a connu une extraordinaire aventure industrielle qui a propulsé la Belgique au 2e rang des puissances économiques mondiales au cours du XIXe siècle… Une histoire passionnante et passionnée que ce film fait découvrir”. Un film de Mauro CATALDO, Fred DECOUX et Francis GROFF, produit par FDP Production et habillé par Dirty Monitor.

Situé à l’entrée du musée, ce nouvel espace (d’une superficie de 10 mètre sur 8) possède une tribune rétractable de 62 places assises. Mais l’innovation de “Providence”, c’est avant tout son système de projection de “mapping”, permettant la diffusion de ce film de 15 minutes en 3D et réalité augmentée, plongeant avec magie et poésie le visiteur au coeur de l’histoire industrielle qui a fait la grandeur du Pays Noir.
